Built From My Journey. Created to Support Yours.

Strong in Smaller Portions grew from my own experience learning how to eat differently, become stronger, stay active, and create a life I could fully enjoy after bariatric surgery.

MY STORY

From Becoming Smaller to Becoming Stronger

At my highest weight, I weighed 300 pounds and knew I needed a change. My son was almost two, and I wanted to be able to run with him, climb with him at the park, get down on the floor to play, and enjoy those everyday moments without feeling exhausted.

Bariatric surgery became the tool that helped me begin that change. After losing 125 pounds, I gained more than a smaller body. I gained energy, freedom, and a new appreciation for what my body could do.

But somewhere along the way, my goal changed. I stopped wanting to simply become smaller. I wanted to become stronger. I began focusing on protein, strength training, running, and building routines that supported the life I wanted to live.

WHY STRONG IN SMALLER PORTIONS

Smaller Portions. Bigger Goals.

Life after bariatric surgery meant learning to work with smaller portions, but I didn't want a smaller life. I wanted to protect my muscle, build strength, have more energy, and feel capable in my body.

That shift inspired Strong in Smaller Portions. My portions may be smaller now, but my goals, my strength, and the life I want to live are not.

Every bariatric journey looks different. What works for me may not work for you, and that's okay. Our bodies tolerate different foods, our progress happens at different speeds, and our goals aren't always the same.

Strong in Smaller Portions is about finding what works for you, celebrating progress beyond the scale, and building a life that feels stronger—not perfect.
